Hotel Bisser - Bansko

The hotel is located close to the town centre and the cable lift. It offers a variety of facilities for all guests to enjoy, including a sauna and a steam room. The hotel is 5 minutes from the town centre, 2 blocks from the central Pirin Street and 800 metres from the lift. With the hotel as your base, you can enjoy a number of activities including winter sports, hiking and fishing. For younger guests there is a children's play area. The hotel also has a restaurant serving delicious Bulgarian and international cuisine. The hotel is built in a traditional Bansko style and offers cosy, comfortable and well furnished rooms. The room's balconies look out on to the Balkan Peninsula and the Pirin Mountains.

The hotel offers relaxation and well-being with its Russian bathroom and sauna. Throw some water on the ardent rocks and you will obtain the Russian version of the sauna (wetter because of the vapour): the Bania.

The town of Bansko, nestled on the foot of the beautiful Pirin mountain, is 160 km away from both Sofia and Plovdiv, 100 km from the Rila monastery, and 120 km from Melnik. Many mineral water springs and spas can be found in this area. Bansko provides recreational activities throughout the year, including skiing, hunting, fishing and rafting. The hotel has a rustic-style restaurant (tavern) with 60 seats, which is only for the guests of the hotel. The tavern is built and decorated in a traditional Bansko style, made of stone, timber and featuring fireplaces. The menu contains typical meat dishes in Bansko style, including kapama, chumlek, katino meze and starets.
