Mountain Residence 1 has an excellent central location, equally close to the gondola and the centre of Bansko. Clean and tidy asphalt road will lead you easily to the complex. This is a great base from which to explore this scenic area while hiking or biking or for a superb ski holiday, using the impressive facilities of this marvellous resort at the foothills of the Pirin mountains. The nicely furnished one- and 2-bedroom apartments provide for a peaceful night's rest and feature a fully-equipped kitchenette. Many of them have a fireplace and a terrace. The great spa facilities contribute to a stay of ultimate comfort. A shuttle bus from Mountain Residence 1 to the lift is available at a very reasonable rate.

The hotel consists of 71 apartments, 49 one-bedroom apartments, 21 2-bedroom apartments and 1 3-bedroom apartment. Many of the apartments have a fireplace and a balcony and separate bedrooms for more comfort and a sense of individuality. You can enjoy a warm, nice atmosphere next to the lobby fire place, while having a hot drink from the lobby bar nearby. The outdoor area consists of large green areas, a children’s playground, a beautiful barbecue place and a common area for relaxing outdoors. 2 main entrances to the hotel have a north and south orientation.

Bansko ski resort is situated in South-western Bulgaria, and is only 160km from Sofia. Situated in the foothills of one of the most beautiful Bulgarian mountains - Pirin, which is a national preserve and is included in the World Natural Heritage list. The skiing conditions in Bansko are excellent. The Pirin mountain is predominantly Alpine in character with three peaks towering above 2900 metres. However the slopes offer runs and tracks for all levels of skiers, novice through to expert. The town itself attracts visitors all year round with its cultural monuments, museums, nightlife and restaurants.

- Once you get onto the main Pirin Street - turn right on the second traffic light over the bridge. - Then take the first left after the bridge - pass Glazne hotel and turn right to see Mountain Residence 1.

Mountain Residence 1 is a self-catering apartment hotel operating on an accommodation-only basis. However, we do offer hot and cold drinks at our comfortable lobby bar on the ground floor. We can also provide a breakfast package upon request. All apartments have fully-equipped kitchens combined with a dining space. The hotel is close to the centre, there are many restaurants nearby. Barbecue facilities are available in the garden.
